Bulk storage plants RP document now available

Print copies of the Recommended Practices for the Installation of Bulk Storage Plants (PEI/RP800) are now available for purchase, according to Petroleum Equipment Institute (PEI) information. The Recommended Practices (RP) document was produced by the PEI's Bulk Plant Installation Committee and provides a basic reference that consolidates information concerning the proper construction of new petroleum bulk-storage systems. The information applies to underground, aboveground, atmospheric, and shop-fabricated tanks, associated piping, diking, spill containment, and equipment intended for the bulk storage and transfer of petroleum, biofuels, and related products to and from wheeled delivery-vehicle tanks.
